I like that you have the Red Threat on your “other” board. I have the Green Line that I hunted down specifically because Schroeder wrote that he used one on “Face Your Fun”. I wish it made me play like him too! You use a lot of fuzz pedals; why not more distortion or overdrive? Is there a specific quality in a fuzz that you prefer over another kind of dirt pedal?

Reading your blogs always gives me an insider’s look at music that I listened to, or knew about, when I was in high school. “Bendy Line” has always been my favorite Prayer Chain song. I never got into the Autumns, but this is the kind of blog that makes me think it’s high time that I should. You’ve got it all, Prickett. Gear talk, recording process, bands I like, people I wish I knew, wisdom, and expertly placed links! I really do look forward to each new entry because there is always something valuable to me in every post.

this will always be my favorite album. the first chords of ‘The Garden Ends’ always, always gets me (i regret not walking down the aisle to that song). this album resets all the feelings in the world. someone can shit on my face, one of my parents could die, i don’t care. from start to end, it is claritin, it is cialis. it is so amazing.
