O2 Day 1 Live

The opening scene of this video is silly, strange and perhaps unflattering. But band-merchandiser Jared Gray makes me laugh all the time, and this is just a simple example of why.
The truth about the show is that the Bon Jovi crowd was only mildly and selectively won over by us. For the few that invested themselves, it was a great show, though.
Oh, and the reason I refer to “Stayin’ Alive”: the last two days on the bus, our driver had on a Bee Gees DVD of some sort for us to wake up to. He loves the Bee Gees, and needed us to know that:

Made my way to the stage to watch Richie Sambora’s tech check his rig (awesome). Came back to find everyone doing what they do when we’re waiting to do our soundcheck…

4 Percent

It is commonly known in the music touring world that you spend a large amount of a 24-hour period working for a relatively short burst of light (approximately 4 percent of said 24-hours). This is a video that attempts to resemble that remark:

Here is some video shot by members of the audience: YouTube – OneRepublic live at the Bercy Arena, Paris, France.

Then, a late night drive to London (with dinner at a truck stop).
