We drove to the Moscow airport in some of the most miserable traffic any of us had seen or smelled. It was awful. We did, however, manage to stop at a McDonald’s and satisfy a curiosity. I had a stomach problem going at that point, so I skipped it. Then we flew to Berlin, and the guys did some press. I played with them on this cool TV show hosted by Marta Jandova. We did an acoustic version of Marching On, which required all of us to sing quite a bit. There was a guy barbequeing in the courtyard, pork sandwiches and brats, and it was awesome. Later that night, me up with Ryan and went to a famous German actor’s house who is a good friend of the band (Til Schweiger, the German who killed Germans in Inglorious Bastards). We watched some soccer, listened to some music, and had a great time. Very gracious guy.

I shot a little bit of video (yes, we tuned our guitars with the iPhone guitar tuner app on Drew’s iPhone), and then handed my camera off to Mark hoping he could catch some stuff. Mark is, yet again, another excellent person in the OneRepublic camp. And let me just say that in my world, I’m quite often the face-maker, silly guy (the ‘Jim Carrey’ of the group), but in the OneRepublic world, I’m right at home. Fun, funny, silly guys. I was missing Zach, as were the other guys, because he is always quite entertaining. Anyways, make it through this clip, and you’ll know what I mean:
