This is our ride to New York. The guys gotta get to sound check at the Today Show in New York by 5 am. Ryan ordered some food for us to bring on the plane that was outrageously good. 20 minutes of everyone saying, “Oh my God!”:

When I was here last year, I ground and brewed this coffee every day, because it is delicious. So, started here and off with David to hang with the Tedder’s (tour the house/studio they’re building and have lunch). David and I lived in the house the band recorded at last year. We spent 2 weeks setting the place up together, right off the bat without ever having met. The shared love and scars run deep. Then to the venue.

I thought tonight was a full rehearsal show for me, but I’m just observing. For the guitar nerds, the Axe-Fx (Zach’s rig that I will be using) is awesome, but very deep. Been reading the manual and poking around, and I definitely appreciate the fact that my Line6 has specific models of famous delays.
